Evergreen Line was founded in 1968 by Dr Chang Yung Fa who was chairman of Evergreen Group until his demise in January 2016. The company commenced operations with a second hand vessel named Central Trust.
Today the company is led by Mr K.H. Chang and is listed as the sixth largest container carrier worldwide with a fleet of 150 vessels which have a container capacity of 560,000teus.
